Chapter Five

For a week, Vance played by the rules and fell into the routine set by Theron. Falcon, Drake and another blood slave named Jett took turns waking Theron from his daily slumber. Vance would suck his dick, the slave would feed his hunger for blood then one or more would remain on the bed, entwine their bodies and they’d fuck each other dumb. For a week, but no more. Vance wasn’t going to spend another night holed up in Theron’s chamber.

Theron had seen to his comforts. Someone had gone to his home, gathered his clothing and brought it to Theron’s place. Now his personal belongs intermingled with the vampire’s. Hell, it was as if he’d moved in.

Vance grabbed a long shower, dried off and wrapped the towel around his waist. Existing belowground for a week had paled his skin. He needed more than sex. Theron had seen to his human needs. Delicious gourmet cuisine was brought down three times a day. A bowl of fruit sat on the table. Vance wasn’t hungry. He was stir-crazy.

“Hey.” Falcon leaned against the doorjamb. He wore black jeans, a black tank and his feet were bare. He wasn’t as large and powerful as Theron, but he was attractive. His skin reminded Vance of rich caramel. He was smooth and tasted sweet but Vance suspected there was more to the blood slave. Like tonight, there was a cunning and deviance barely cloaked behind the casual stance and lackadaisical greeting.

“I didn’t hear you come in.” Vance ran a comb through his hair. Falcon stepped into the room. Their eyes locked in the mirror. “It’s time to wake sleeping beauty.” He stood close. Falcon’s full lips curled into a promising smile. Promising what, Vance wasn’t sure. His chocolate eyes narrowed. Vance didn’t like the mischievous twinkle. “Actually, I think we have a little time still.” Falcon tucked his thumb into the edge of Vance’s towel.

“What are you suggesting?” Vance set the comb on the counter and braced his palms on the polished marble.

“A game of one on one.” He tugged the towel, loosening the cinch. Vance grabbed the towel and tucked it back in place. “What about Theron?” Nausea roiled in his gut. “Just because I serve the vampires, doesn’t mean I can’t do as I please. Theron isn’t the only vampire I feed and he sure isn’t the only man I fuck.” He chuckled. “After the past week, you should know that.”

“Just because I’m not a blood slave, doesn’t mean I’m not loyal.” He brushed past Falcon. “I’ve only fucked you because Theron wanted me to.”

“I’m loyal.” Falcon followed him. “I’ve served Theron and the sect for over five

years.” His lips pulled back in a sneer. “Don’t think you’re coming in and fucking up

my life.” He glared at Vance’s belongings, mixed in with Theron’s. “Don’t get too

comfortable. You won’t last. You’re a challenge. Once he breaks you, he’ll move on and

then you’ll be a nothing blood slave serving all vampires in the sect.”

“Break me?” Vance dropped the towel and jerked on a pair of tight leather bondage

pants.
